Who You Talk To

When you call Turkishloop Restoration, your call is routed to an independent water damage restoration provider that serves your part of the Buffalo-Niagara area. The person who answers works for that provider, not for Turkishloop Restoration. They are the team that will inspect your home, give you an estimate and, if you choose, do the work.

Turkishloop Restoration is a referral service. We do not employ restoration technicians, and we do not send our own crews. We think you should know that before you pick up the phone.

What Happens on the Call

The provider's team will usually ask a few questions to understand your situation:

• Where is the water coming from, and has it stopped?
• Which rooms or floors are affected?
• How long has the water been there?
• Is the water clean, like from a supply line, or could it be contaminated?

Answer as well as you can. It is fine if you do not know everything yet. The goal is to help the provider plan a visit and bring the right equipment.

What to Ask a Provider

You are inviting someone into your home to handle a stressful problem. It is smart to ask questions. Here are the ones we recommend:

• Are your technicians IICRC certified? The IICRC sets widely used standards for water damage restoration. Ask whether the technicians on your job hold current certification.
• Are you licensed and insured? Ask for proof of liability insurance and any license required for the work in New York.
• Will I get a written estimate? A clear written estimate should list the work, the equipment and the expected cost before anything starts.
• Will you take moisture readings? A good provider measures moisture at the start and checks it during drying. Ask them to share the readings with you.
• How will you know when it is dry? Drying should be confirmed with readings, not guesswork.
• Can you help document the damage? Photos and moisture logs can be useful if you file an insurance claim.

You never have to hire the provider we connect you with. Take your time, ask questions and get other quotes if you want to. Each provider is an independent business that sets its own prices and terms, and is responsible for its own work.
